Film festivals & motorcycles
Finally Bury me in the backyard has started its journey, selected to the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards and inHOUSE film festival in London in May! I won’t be able to go to LA, but I am not missing inHOUSE. It looks like it’s going to be great fun! So, after some puzzling with my ever-growing schedule, the first week in May is now put aside to a trip to London!
Right now, I am sitting at Kulturutvecklingen Gävleborg in Gävle, with two of the EFTERTEXT ladies, working away at the post-production of their music video while the rain is dripping outside. Hello spring!
I’ve been visiting my parents and little brother in Ljusne this weekend, since I was heading up to Gävle for the EFTERTEXT meeting anyway, and gave myself a couple of extra days in the country so that I could ride my motorcycle with my dad (which I did, and it went really well the whole way, up and down hills and around scary bends, on this really tricky, gravelly path, up until we were heading back home again when I accidentally accelerated in a very narrow bend and drove off the road and into a ditch… I twisted my ankle a little, but other than that I’m fine!) and attend a Swedish-Kurdish evening in Söderhamn in support of Kobane!
Here you have two very dedicated and inspired young filmmakers!
